Ludovic Florent

The third issue of Longitude 55 introduces you to Ludovic Florent, an artist passionate about dance photography.

When he started out, he practiced photography alongside his job as a construction engineer. However, this quickly gained momentum in his life. He decided to make it his only profession from 2009.

His love of dance and light guided Ludovic towards artistic projects based on bodily expression. Her approach is graphic, subtle and sensual.

He has produced several artistic series such as "Star dust" and "Amaterasu" which aim to highlight the human body.

Recognized for his artistic qualities, he was able to produce the communication visuals for the "Rose des vents", national stage in Villeneuve d´Ascq in 2014 and the Metz opera house in 2016.

Photographing exclusively humans, the portrait is for him a means of sharing of rare intensity.

Thanks to a relationship of trust and even complicity, the images produced create precious memories for everyone.

Taking time to produce timeless, deep and rewarding images is his way of showing the human. Like a precious commodity, unfortunately too often neglected in our current society.
